Mantra combined with rhythmic breathing helps to quiet the mind

I think if I had to choose a Mantra for my recovery it would be, "Dude: Don’t Forget to Breathe!"

Forgetting to Breathe can be both figuratively lethal to one’s recovery and literally lethal to oneself.

Often my thoughts and feelings become flawed and obsessive. Failure to interrupt these hamper my recovery and increases the chance of self harm.

Focusing on a Mantra combined with rhythmic breathing offers a much needed rest. They help quiet the mind and still one’s flawed thoughts and emotions.

Best wishes on our collective journey towards recovery and remember: "Don’t Forget to Breathe."

Respectfully submitted for your consideration,
