The Consumer/Family Satisfaction Team functions as a service to all mental health consumers and family members. Our purpose is to ascertain the extent to which an individual consumer accesses all programs that are available to that consumer consistent with their needs and wishes.
Each mental health consumer who receives services funded by the Erie County Mental Health/Mental Retardation Office is contacted by a CFST team member on a regular basis by either personal visit, telephone call or by mail. Through these personal contacts and interviews, the consumers are made aware of the programs now available to them. Their satisfaction with specific programs is asked. If the response is negative, agencies in question are made aware of the need for corrective action. These problems or misunderstandings as they may be, are followed up to a conclusion. The consumers needs are held most important, always.
Using survey forms, consumers opinions of vendor agencies are quantified and provided to the appropriate level of management within the system.
All consumers wishing to participate in completing a survey describing the services they are receiving and how well satisfied they are with those services, are asked to complete our short and simple survey form: Consumer Satisfaction Response
