from the director.
The Upper Room of Erie, Inc is a daytime shelter for the homeless in downtown Erie, PA. We are located at 1024 Peach Street, South Entrance. Since opening in 1995, we have welcomed ¼ million men, women and children from the streets. Services are free of charge and open to all. Our hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 8:30AM to 4:00PM and Sunday 12:30PM to 4:00PM.
We provide hospitality and a safe place for the poor and homeless in an atmosphere of respect for self and others.
We are here to support the dignity and self-image of our guests. We offer support and referrals, as needed.
